Exchanges
Is there a problem with your order? We only exchange items under special circumstances or if they are defective. While we endeavor to package your item for safety for transit, MaddoxArtStudio.com IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY ITEMS DAMAGED OR LOST DURING SHIPPING. If you received your order damaged, please contact us and initiate the process to file a shipping claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods. Prior to opening your shipment, it is helpful to take photos of the package if the damage is visible on the outside, as well as taking photos of damaged item itself. Please see our Shipping Policy for additional details.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
There are situations where exchanges are not possible:
Item with obvious signs of use.
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
Sale items. Only regular priced items may be exchanged. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
If the item being exchanged is a higher value than the items being replaced, then the buyer is responsible for the difference in cost.
Refunds
We only issue refunds for original artworks under special circumstances or when items are defective. You have 7 business days from receipt of the artwork to request a return. Unfortunately, after 7 days we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.
Returns are subject to the following limitations:
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Return requests must include a receipt or proof of purchase.
Return requests must state in writing the reason for the return.
Sale items. Only regular priced items will be considered for a refund. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Refund requests WILL BE EVALUATED AND ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL FROM OUR STAFF. Depending on the circumstances, AN EXCHANGE OR PARTIAL REFUND MAY BE OFFERED AS AN ALTERNATIVE.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Return Shipping
Buyers are responsible for paying for their own shipping costs for returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on the destination, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
